On February 16, 2026, the Atyrau Railcar-Building Plant (AWBP), part of the TEXOL group of companies, was officially registered in the register of Kazakhstani manufacturers as a producer of the 12-6785 model universal open-top wagon.
The inclusion of the enterprise in the register was the result of completing the established procedure for confirming the status of a domestic manufacturer in coordination with the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The registration procedure was carried out fully in accordance with the approved regulations and established criteria for domestic manufacturers.
Obtaining the status of a registered manufacturer confirms that AWBP is a genuine domestic producer of railway rolling stock, fully compliant with local production requirements.
Currently, the plant is implementing projects to develop serial production of specialized tank wagons for transporting acids and food cargo, as well as tank wagons for petroleum products and liquefied hydrocarbon gases with increased carrying capacity. Simultaneously, the plant is launching the production of new freight wagon models that meet modern industry requirements.
